Bookkeeping Stuff
This package suits VAT Registered businesses with turnover up to £1M per annum.
If you are VAT registered you will need to complete VAT returns. We’ll do this for you, which will save you time and give you peace of mind they are being completed correctly. Also each month we will reconcile your VAT account within your records.
If you run a payroll we’ll post the correct journals each month to accurately reflect your true business profit. You need to accurately record your cost to account for profitability.
If you’re a limited company or have employees you will need to have a payroll system that is kept up to date. Many of our clients choose to use cloud payroll. Part of our role is to keep your payroll records fully up to date. Please also note, as part of this payroll service, we can run annual payrolls. This is included in the package.
We handle your CIS deductions from your income and report them to HMRC monthly. At the end of the year, we review your deductions to secure any tax credits or refunds you are entitled to.
Ensure timely filing for PAYE and NIC payments
We make sure with all your payments of PAYE and NIC the filing deadlines are met to stop any late payments.
We’ll be your Financial Dashboard & KPI monitor. Ensuring your key financial information is always up to date and easy to understand. This will help you keep your finger on the pulse of your business at all times.
Provide a provision of what the company expects to pay as the year progresses so no nasty tax shocks in the year end meeting.
Accurate accounting for all foreign currency transactions because currency can fluctuate in value and effect your profit if you don’t record it properly. In addition, realised and unrealised values are treated differently for tax purposes.
So you know what money the company owes you (or what you owe it) we keep your directors loans reconciled accurately every month.
Accounting Stuff
How you benefit more – everything in Essential plus the following:
Before finalising a set of accounts, we go through a detailed checklist reviewing the business expenses to make sure everything you’re entitled to claim is included. We’ll advise you on how to keep your business tax efficient and compliant with the regulations.
We will arrange a post year-end review meeting with you to discuss your year-end accounts and help you plan for the future.
Prepare your statutory financial statements so you meet your statutory obligations with HM Revenue and Customs.
Every business needs a business review. We will review your business with you, helping you to identify what’s going well and areas where you can improve.
If you operate your business through a limited company, as part of your Full Accounting Package we go beyond the statutory accounts and prepare detailed financial statements for your submission to Companies House. These meet the highest standards of financial accounting and give you a clear picture of your profits and losses for the year.
Conducting an analytical review and ratio analysis ensures that your figures, including expenses in proportion to income, are accurate and sensible, helping to minimise the risk of an enquiry from HM Revenue & Customs.
To clarify that none of your money is locked up
unnecessarily.
Fee protection Insurance provides peace of
mind against investigation costs, which can arise randomly and involve detailed scrutiny of both business and personal affairs.
Most investigations are not related to fraud but can still be triggered by minor fluctuations, lasting about 10 months and costing around £2,000 in professional fees.
With our scheme, you’re automatically covered, and we’ll handle the enquiry while the insurance covers our fees. Additionally, you’ll receive free advice on employment, health and safety, and commercial legal issues.
The completion of the return involves accurately reporting your company tax liability to HMRC.
Every UK limited company must have a registered office address in the UK for official documents.
Many owners use their accountant’s address, as accountants handle services like the Confirmation Statement.
If you trade as a limited company, the Companies Acts 1985 and 2006 impose company secretarial requirements that can be cumbersome and frequently change, with your statutory books subject to inspection at any time.
We can manage all this administrative work for you, including preparing your Confirmation Statement, ensuring you meet all statutory obligations with Companies House.
Our fixed price is fully inclusive of unlimited email and telephone support for advice on ad-hoc matters. This means that you can call us at any time knowing that you will not be charged for our time.
Of course, if the issues raised are of a complex nature and require research, we may need to charge for this. However, we will always discuss this with you beforehand and provide a fixed quotation for the additional work. This way you NEVER get an unexpected bill.
